A fan fic on Saint Seiya…

 This fiction is the first that I write (but will certainly remain the only one), although my interest for Saint Seiya does not go back to yesterday, and had come when I was a teenager. I decided to write it after I had read a summary of the 5th movie, and also because I am not satisfied with the way that the Gold Saints end their life in the manga and the anime (a comment just to unveil who are the main characters).

The fic doesn't take account of neither the movies – except the recent number 5 – nor "Episode G", still on-going in Japan.

… that is not really a Saint Seiya fic?

I hope the purists will forgive me... When I was a teen, I was fond of the well orchestrated fights of those young and beautiful knights in armors. But now, the same fights doesn’t match my expectations. I prefer stories describing the psychology of the characters, and leaving definitively the "beaten paths" of the Sanctuary. No superman with super powers, but only men confronted with dangers they have to face with their own resources, undeniably human. And anyway, there are enough fan fics on the Web, continuing the fantastic and mythological epopee of our knights, so that I don’t have to participate to the competition...

 In addition, I must confess that I am a fan of fantastic movies and novels (X-files in particular) and vampires (large preference for Angel and Chronicles of the vampires). An interest that influences the atmosphere and the story of this fiction.

 I know that some fans of Seiya, visiting this site, might criticize the fact that I have moved considerably away from the original story, and that vampires don’t match really with the Saints.  I would reply that the vision of the characters of Seiya Saint is different according to each fan, and this vision I try to share with the visitors is only one, trying to find a new way among the ten of thousands fictions inspired by this incredible manga.
